It's sad to see it officially end, I even got a little teary eyed during the final episode. It had a great run and will hold a place in many of our hearts, so here's a goodbye to Naruto and the K11! Respect to Masashi Kishimoto.

How is it over now? If you wanted to get emotional the manga ended over two years ago. The last truly cannon thing from Kishi was the Boruto movie over a year ago also. The last truly cannon (aka. from Kishi) chapter covered in shippuden also ended on episode 479. This to me is just mediocre filler extending the series. Plus you wait all of two weeks and Boruto anime starts and while he may be the new main characters it's not like the old characters won't appear from time to time either.

I got way more emotional when the last chapter of the manga was released but
I am not gonna lie, it struck my heart a bit to see "Completed" next to Naruto, cause I have known this anime since I was a little kid, and now it is over, yes it had bad fillers, yes the animation was lacking at some points, but it still is one of the anime that I am most found of because of the fact that it has been with me since forever, and I got to grow at the same time with the characters, I was 9 when I first saw it, the original one, now I will be turning 22, 13 years in wich I have been through a lot and this anime was there all that time.
So anyone can say what they want but I got to meet a lot of cool people on this forum thanks to this anime and got to see even more amazing anime, so it will always be special for me

To be honest i felt this way with the Boruto movie in theaters. but to see it again with this last episode is crazy.
No more naruto to look forward to...I will probably feel like this again when im 80 and HxH is completed
