Raikage was too stupid for Sasuke who has outwitted opponents way smarter than him. Way smarter. Heck, even with the backings of two of his Jounins, one Kage and two other guard Jounins, the little ***** still failed. Lost a whole arm and was about to get his anus pried open with Amaterasu spikes had Gaara not shown up. And all he gave Sasuke was a tiny scratch. Heh. :kd:

If tailed beasts can be easily controlled with it (bar Kurama that requires an MS to do so, but it can be easily suppressed with it), Genjutsu Kai is useless, two people are required to fight one Uchiha with a 3Tomoe Sharingan and Genjutsu experts failed miserabily against it: Kurenai, Chee and Orochimaru all got steam-rolled! Uchihas a simply OP. Deal with it.
And Kakuzu > Deidara? This guy is something else! And Naruto > Pein, which is why Ma summoned all toads, larger summons distracted him as he entered into SM again and Kurama stepped in (along with his dad) to rescue him? And then he magically got out of CT and was in SM when CT was still intact. Coolio! Naruto > Pein, indeed.

Haha, no. Gaara was shitted on with basic homing birds. He was defeated well before he ever saved the village. He was finished well before that. Deidara didn't even use C1 or C2 on him and still he lost when he had the whole desert at his disposal. I can't believe people actually think Deidara would have won, when he was a Jin then, backed by a ****ing desert.
And the proof of this would be ... what? Post the scan to prove this. We can all wait. As Mello stated, Gaara's measly bit of sand was more durable that Raikage's V2 Armour and the Susanno! Haha, GuntahBuntah!

You're the one who claimed that besides other reasons that his means of attacking somehow contributes to him being a bad shinobi yet when I point out how OP he is regardless of that you turn around and claim the thread isn't about how strong he is, why even mention how he attacks at all then?

Minato is a short range blitz shinobi as well but he evaluates situations BEFORE making crazy moves. As seen in the manga the few times he doesn't calculate properly he suffers for it. SAME as Raikage.
Minato excuse was EDO however Raikage overconfidence in his Rai armor lead him to be way too wreckless which is something I would never expect from a Kage
Hell even Obito was tactical about blitzing and this ****er can make himself phase out
He was involved in a situation about his family when he acted reckless, sasuke was just as reckless at times and would've lost his life were it not for Obito so you judging him based off of pretty much 1 encounter is biased as heck.
Hm...no, I'm fairly sure he broke through Sasuke's ribcage Susanoo and that the sand blocked his kick. The discussion here basically ammounts to "can the Raikage do the same thing he did with a swing of his arm but with his leg instead"? And I say...yeah, why not.

You proved nothing other than the fact that Raikage was emotional when attacking sasuke. The cloud believed sasuke killed bee and they must have loved him deeply as they were all upset, evidenced by team 7's meeting with Karui and Omoi.
Sure he was somewhat reckless against minato but he still used tactical thought and once again his opponent was Minato who was pretty much untouchable due to FTG trumping 95% of any ninja's arsenal. Minato also rushed an opponent while getting emotional and paid dearly for it when attacking juubi jin madz. Doesn't make him any less of a person than he was.

Kumo was the most powerful and influential village from at least the series' start going into the 4th Great Shinobi War, so he was a man who would've and should've been Raikage. You conveniently left out scans that show why the Raikage had every reason to be angry at the summit, and that he not only managed to figure out the basic concept of FTG without any prior knowledge of the technique, but was also prepared to figure out which kunai Minato was going to jump to if there was a pattern.
