Boruto told Sarada that she was going to become Hokage, and that he was going to be support her by protecting her well. That doesn't seem like he's asking, he's actually telling her what's going to go to down.

Not the other way around.

I for one went through the same thing when Naruto was the Hokage, I said that Sasuke was going to be listening to Naruto, but then again it was the other way around. They work together.

Boruto clearly does not see Sarada as someone above him, he sees her as a future partner. I don't know why OP is trying to state something different.

i dont mean the exact same character lul, i mean boruto represent sasuke as he wants to support sarada when she becomes hokage, i meant in terms of goals sarada = hokage (naruto) Boruto = protector/nomad whatever you call it (sasuke)

The Boruto anime is just the adaption of the Manga lmfao. It's not any different than the Naruto anime in terms of canon.

The anime writers aren't writing the Manga, which is the sequel of Naruto or 'Boruto'

Sarada admires Naruto so her personality going into the future if she wants to earn the Kage title better be shaping her up to be very rational and ones judgement everyone comes to rely on.

Boruto can be the muscle but its sarada's advice and knowledge that everyone should be yearning for.
Make her presence critical to situations going forward or the kages position will mean nothing.

She needs to feel like the centerpiece.
Something sadly they never really made Tsuande feel like.
Only hiruzen and minato ever truly felt like a cornerstone.
