Nope, being mortal doesn't mean you're not a god. Greek and Viking gods were all mortal just not to humans. Same goes for Naruto and Sasuke, no one can kill them aside from people with the Shinju's power which is said to be divine power.

You say no one can kill them outside of people of shinju which is false. They are not gods just higher beings. Close to that of alien races than humans.

They are very mortal. They need food water etc.

Whereas Kaguya needs none of that. She is the only one deserving of being called a God.

She creates and destroys worlds. Able to create life and play with death with zero drawbacks. And from nothing more than chakra.

The only one who has come close to doing such a thing was the one who gave them such a power in the first place and that's Hagoromo.

I dunno. There are Demi Gods from different types of mythology, some old cultures believed in Demi Gods who pulled the sun in order to escape the underworld, or something on those lines.

It's pretty out there. Anyway I feel like if you aren't immortal, you aren't considered a real God.
