Preta Path absorbing Senjutsu is what caused him to become petrified as a frog allowing Naruto to fight Deva Path.

As for Minato's FTG it only works with seals and kunai. How can he get pass Asura Path and Deva Path?

Nagato was wrecking both Killer Bee and Naruto as he was capable of using all paths simultaneously. VERY FEW people in this series can handle that arsenal thrown at them.
