Actually there are some awful individuals among Buddhist too. Have you ever heard of a Buddhist monk and preacher named Wirathu? He's a pretty dangerous dude who in Myanmar is nicknamed "the Buddhist Bin Laden". Far from saying that he behaves like that because of his Buddhist faith, but to say that Buddhists are so peaceful they put others to shame is just preposterous. I would just say that no culture or worldview can save us from our own human nature by itself.

That's what I was saying, pal.

I just wanna say to all you "new-athiests" who insult others over their beliefs and think your so smart, 99.9% of religious people look to religion as a source guidelines and values not a source of creation. A 3 year old can make the argument that the world is more than 6000 years old. Anyways To answer your question the way I see it is if you commit your life to helping yourself, people and the envoirnment you will inevitably forgive yourself and others for any mistakes that have been made in the past. So ya I think God can forgive Satan so to speak.

I think Satan should be forgiven. If I were Lucifer, you could bet a trillion dollars that I would be angry that God kicked me out of heaven and wrote in his holy book that I would be thrown into Armageddon, in a fiery pitt for 1,000 years and then I would be taken out and thrown into a Lake Of Fire to burn for eternity. On top of that, all of humanity hates me just for being me and believes that I spend every second of every day trying to make them sin.

Apparently, Lucifer rebelled against God due to arrogance, but this narrative comes from a lot of English literature in the 19th century so I don't really know if this narrative is truly reliable or not. Lucifer clearly made a mistake, but he should be forgiven, given that he's willing to humble himself and admit his own wrongdoings. The only way I could see someone like Lucifer repenting is if people tried to understand him. Major Eastern religions claim that understanding is the guide to peace which does seem to be somewhat true and testable.

Its pretty unfair that humanity get's multiple shots at forgiveness but not Lucifer. The only thing separating us from him is the fact that he knows that God exists for a fact unlike us who have to believe with faith. If a Christian prides themselves on forgiveness then they should be willing to forgive even Lucifer. No one deserves eternal hell fire, thats the must evil form of torture I know.

No, you were saying that Buddhists are all perfect so you hate them because you're racist

I...wasn't?

Being a Buddhist doesn't automatically make one a saint, pal. It's so funny that you're trying to paint them like pure beings when they too have crimes, recent ones at that.

1. God killed millions of people. Satan killed 6. With God's permission

2. What Satan did to Adam and Eve didn't even condemn them to death. He just gave them knowledge, and God implanted sin and mortality and fragility into them.

3. God had the option of not creating sin in the first place, ensuring that the absolute maximum amount of humans would prosper and there'd be no suffering. And don't give me any bullshit about how we wouldn't understand happiness and prosperity without suffering. God was able to implant wisdom in Solomon. He implanted free will in all humans, and the capacity to sin. He created intelligence in humans, so he definitely could have implanted that kind of wisdom and knowledge inherently without actually needing us to suffer to it.

Either God's retarded or evil.

I'm sorry but this reeks with ignorance.

The fruit granted them the ability to distinguish between Good and Evil, and not direct knowledge. This altered their essence to be susceptible to death. God did not implant sin nor mortality into them.

"God had the option of not creating sin in the first place"

God did not create sin. It's something that arises whenever we go against the principles he (God) established. Basically, it's a derivative of being disobedient.

Colossians 1:16 ►
For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

John 1:3 ►
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

If it exists, God created it. So yes, God did create sin.

Pretty sure "sin" is not a thing.

Because it doesn't have a physical form? "Sin" is the same concept as "life." It's a concept, it's a state of being. If God created life, then he can create sin.
