Well, it definitely wasn't his dagger, but he sure as hell did the stabbing. It might not be deserved, or even the full truth, but ultimately, the one who landed the final blow was Boruto.

With whom? Who else uses a power similar to disappearing rasengen that caught Momoshiki off guard? Yes, Boruto is just a kid and needed help and tips from his teacher and father- if he didn't need any, we could be complaining what a Gary Stu he was.
This chapter sets up Boruto as the protagonist -
Boruto brought in invisible rasengan- his very own tech.
He was able to handle the large Rasengan Naruto made and throw it properly.
Momoshiki's spirit acknowledged his potential and role in his defeat albeit grudgingly and cursed him along with the mark. We will see what it means and what that mark is later.
Seeing future/fate- that's hogwash, IMO. All of them claim but neither Neji, nor Kaguya nor Momoshiki could really see it. They can guess the potential and come to a logical deduction at best. They may choose their target and set things up, manipulate people in to doing something or refraining from it, but that's all.

Why people thinking that Boruto's technique is the only thing that could've got Momoshiki off guard? If that's the case, even Sasuke himself could've used his ameno to shift his sword/kunai/amaterasu/fire ball or any other technique to get Momoshiki off guard, while Boruto (or any other ninja) distracted him. All I'm saying is that Boruto, as the protagonist, is lucky plot needed him there. Having that in mind, they created an entire situation where it seemed like he was substantial.
You are putting the cart before the horse. It's plot for his story. Of course it's going to cover situations which narrate his joureny. You were not expecting Dr Strange to come help them, or were you?

Never said that. My whole point is: Boruto was never necessary there; they designed an entire situation to look like he was substantial, but in reality, he isn't, and everyone knows. Sasuke and Naruto could've done all the work there, not even the Gokage was really needed. But, because it's his movie and he is the protagonist, he needed to appear and they needed to include him there somehow. That is how it went.

Most likely. If Sasuke cannot notice advantage of such a tech against an enemy like Momoshiki then he won't be the Sasuke we knew. But aparantly he should have ignored the boy who was right there and went on another journey to find someone else whose tech they could use instead of Boruto's, in the story of Bortuo while Boruto would go and play a video game- because some readers find it too much that he gets to do something in his story.

But momoshiki anticipated sasukes ameno I think the only reason momo got hit by borutos rasengan was he didn't see him as a threat. I don't think borutos was nessessary in defeating momo but I honestly think Sasuke brought him along as a lesson and to raise his warrior spirit. Now after going through that experience borutos now inspired and taking serious being a ninja. Honestly the fight really show cases how much Naruto and Sasuke didn't take momoshiki as a serious threat. Naruto purposely got captured so there wasn't a battle in the village and Sasuke brought a kid along to a battlefield and allowed him to do the finishing blow. Even bee toyed with momoshiki by how he escaped from them.
Pretty much. They went into detail, and explained that they didn't need Boruto at all. But, at the off chance that something did happen which caught them off-guard, they would need his ability because it threw everyone off-guard; Boruto himself thought it was useless, Sasuke thought it was useless until it hit the tree, and Sarada probably thought it was nothing special either.
Which is why it worked perfectly against Momoshiki, who absorbs chakra, because once he saw it disappear he let his guard down. Which provided the perfect distraction for them to regroup and form a plan.

You don't have a point, if you cannot point at it.
You cannot even word your problem with the arc properly. At this rate you will only fail. If you need help I can tell you the weakest part in the arc- the contrived part was entry of that idiotic noob who jumped out of nowhere and handed over shadow binding jutsu to Momoshiki thinking too highly of himself. But that's that.
Seeing how much trouble you had in coming up with a " why it was contrived" just move on. lol
