EMS is the fusion of two dojutsu into one, it's basically the chakra in Itachi's eyes merging with Sasuke's chakra

Instead of getting one eye pattern like DMS Kakashi with Obito's chakra, the EMS user keeps his own eye pattern along with the pattern of the original owner essentially signifying that EMS is the combination of the user's chakra and the chakra of the original owner of the dojutsu.

So how does this relate to Sarada ? When you think about it, EMS is basically the Uchiha's version of being a "Jinchuuriki" because it relies on an external source of power.


Bijuu hosts have their chakra permanently fused with the chakra of the tailed beast similar to Sasuke having his chakra permanently mixed with Itachi's.


It's been repeatedly implied that a small portion of bijuu chakra is passed on to the hosts' children and it makes sense because whatever chakra that's inherited from the host should also come with the bijuu's influence due to bijuus and jinchuuriki being one.


So in a way it's possible that Sarada's eye power would have been influenced by Itachi's chakra due to it being fused with Sasuke's because whatever chakra she inherits form her father would be a mix of his and her uncle's power.


And I'll go as far as to say she may have inherited a small portion of Rikudou chakra due to Hagoromo's chakra also being mixed with Sasuke's chakra as well.

At first it sounds like "fanfic" but then you realize not really due to the absurd amount of Yin energy Sasuke has and the fact he also has Indra's strong chakra genes.

Good point & theory but I don't find it unlikely just as Sakura's "blood" deluting Sasukes. It's clear that his genes are superior based on Sarada looks and the mere fact that she awakened her sharnigan only goes to support that Sakura's genes aren't blocking or deferring her Uchiha advancement. The only thing(s) Sarada inherited from her mother is chakra control and intelligence but I see your point..

Emotion alone is not enough, only Uchiha with exceptional chakra can awaken MS and manga explained chakra quality depends on genes.

There's a reason only two Uchiha unlocked MS during a war era that lasted centuries, emotions don't grant automatic power-up if the individual doesn't have the chakra for a power-up.

The only time a Sharingan user gained bad eyesight is when they had the chakra strength of a Mangekyo user, her eyesight is just a foreshadowing made by the author, Sasuke has the strongest chakra in NV and possesses Indra's chakra genes so it's not a surprise

And Haruno blood will only enhance her Uchiha potential, last I checked the Byakogou has the same healing feats as an Ashura transmigrant

There's a contradiction between what was stated and what was showed: For instance, in Madara + Izuna's story, it was said that they were the first one's to unlock the Mangekyo Sharingan. Because it was rare.

However, later in the story, Itachi said that many Uchiha died trying to transplant their MS eyes in order to save themselves from blindness.

The Sharingan upgrading itself isn't really rare. Because it is dependent on strong emotion. Itachi told Sasuke that he needed to kill his best friend in order to achieve Mangekyo Sharingan, yet, Sasuke awakened it by understanding the truth of Itachi's sacrifice. So yes by facts it depends on strong feelings towards a particular event.

The only real upgrade which is rare: Is Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Many Uchiha failed to restore light in their eyes, and only TWO Uchiha were successful: Madara & Sasuke Uchiha.

Reason: Indra transmigrates.

Itachi's chakra (and Hagoromo's chakra) aren't something present in Sasuke's own chakra genes, and not inherited by Sarada. For the same reason, Sarada didn't inherit bad eyesight from Sasuke's MS usage. It's not genetic.
