when Neji said "I cannot die so easily" , I didn't know if I should feel sad or should I laugh , I mean he just died by a simple wood spikes like a fodder , despite all the potential he have shown . I mean he could've just used Kaiten to counter it ,but... Kishi's lazy ass couldn't think of a better way to kill him , and for what ? , for a pairing ?! ,really ?

I mean out of all reason , but really ? , kill him like this for a ****ing pairing ?!

I wish if he died in part 1 by Kidomaru rather than seeing him dying like this for a pairing

at least before he kills him , he could've at least gave him one moment with his Edo father

he just rushed things up , just so Narujesus can shine again , and to retcon his yaoi relationship with Sasuke .

I mean he could've at least gave team Guy a fight scene , tenten fighting Kakuzu's hearts , Lee fighting some Edo , and he could've gave Neji just a chance to meet his father

and about team Guy , I didn't really like their reaction to Neji's death

I mean tenten was like "Neji ? , who ? , oh poor Lee have lost his rival"
and Guy was taking it easy , not as if his own student have just being pierced (I wonder , if Lee was one who died would his reaction have been the same ?)

now I know that they were in a war and all , but they were literally taking it to easy

but I really like and respect Lee , I feel he was Neji's only true friend , I mean there was really a lot in common between the two

now I know that this 2017 , and I know that there is a buttload of threads complaining about his death , but I was just trying to say that Neji was treated like shit as a character ,

do you think that they will revive him again in the Boruto Manga , I don't expect it , but I just hope so ,

it would be cool to see him coming back as a villain with his fatalism beliefs, since he was right from the very beginning , everything was destined , some people are distend to be Gods (i.e Naruto , Sasuke ) , and some people are just destined to be fodder side branches , no matter how talented they are

and right after he sacrificed his life for Hinata , the only thing that she thought of was how big Naruto's DAMN hand is

and Naruto could have transferred chakra to him from the start , instead of holding Hinata's DAMN hand

and Sakura could have healed him , but lets believe that she couldn't , but guess what ? , she activated her Byakugou a few seconds later :lol

Team Guy have taken his death lightly (well except for Lee)

he simply died like a fodder for a meaningless hand-holding moment -_-

and his death have not done much impact (in the anime) , and no body cared about when he died , and I can't really blame them , the dude was really tossed aside in part 2 a.k.a SHITpuden

Neji should have been killed of in part 1.He had a lot of focus that time and character development.

Neji dying from a random wood spike is the most anticlimactic ending to a non fodder character. I know it was done for the sake of NaruHina but it turned out to be useless because an entire movie had to be produced to develop that pairing. It just goes to show the quality of writing post chapter 600.
