Since Hiruzen was revived at old age, his chakra and power should be as low as before but wait... Tobirama states that the Hokage have been revived "close to original power" this means Hiruzen was revived weaker then he was alive at old age yet he was able to produce the 5 Elements at such mastery that it was even capable of stalemating the Buddha Statue while the 5 Kage couldn't. Just imagine his Prime.

He was also able to hold Orochimaru's soul for an hour long despite being stabbed through the chest by the Sword of Kusangi.

Even past his Prime, Hiruzen had showed excellent Close Quarter Combat skills. Moments after sealing parts of his soul away to seal the Edo Hokage and exhausting his remaining Chakra on Kage Bunshin, he was still able to easily disarm Orochimaru from his Sword of Kusangi with great ease and catch him to prepare his sealing Jutsu. He was also able to easily break through the Shinju branches and save Naruto despite Tobirama and Minato unable to get through.

These are new series made by new artist simply supported by Kishi. It is your choice, consider it filler or canon. For me, it is canon, because Naruto manga ended with new generation as canon and now there is nothing more credible, than current Boruto manga. I just wish they released manga every week with 20 pages, instead once a month with 60 or so pages.

How can the anime be filler, when the Boruto movie came first? A movie which the manga riff for 10 months and at the 11th hour changed part of the ending from the source movie. If anything, the manga is filler. At the pace the anime moves under SP (quick) and the pace Ikemoto moves with the manga (glacial), it'll be a whole year most like before the latter makes any progress in it's story.
The mystery of Kawaki and Boruto's hand seal being the only card the manga has to play. Something I imagine they'll milk for all it's worth, before deciding what exactly they want to achieve with the Boruto manga besides $$$.

Because the first part of the anime will be a completely original story that Studio Pierrot made up, and not a story from Kishimoto or Ikemoto's manga.
No different to any other filler arc in Naruto/Shippuden.

The anime following the SP movie, that was produced and cowritten by the same studio.
The manga following the SP movie, but with the injection of Ikemoto's characters.
Besides, isn't Kishi working on the anime, with the goal to make it better than Naruto was? While the manga is going it's own way.

Ikemoto's manga is being supervised by Kishimoto, and is meant to be a continuation of the series after the movie.
The anime is supposed to adapt Ikemoto's manga, but will start out with an original story.
I haven't kept up with the Boruto stuff, so I have no idea about Kishi working on the anime. If he's the one writing the "original story", then I suppose it would be canon. But last time I saw "original story" being used for the Naruto anime was that terrible Kaguya/Hagoromo and Hamura flashback filler.

Kishi is "supervising" both. By supervising, I mean he's giving notes and the respective parties are coming to him with ideas and asking him what he thinks.
