More than likely, Momoshiki doesn't even know what the Hyuga are, thus "Byakugan blood" makes more sense than "Hyuga blood". If he'd said "carry the Byakugan in you", I would understand, but the fact that he added blood implied that this is more due to his lineage rather than a bloodline.

lol There is no facts, there is no opinions, there is no assumptions. This manga isn't made by kishi and it already contradicts his manga and even the movie which by itself is a contradiction in it's own right and for that isn't worth anyone's time investing or taking seriously with or without that quote.

Really? We barely got a full chapter of original content and you're already saying it shoudn't be taken seriously? I mean, the movie was overwritten by the manga, so who cares for that, and I'm not sure what you're talking about in contradictions with the original manga. Well, anymore than what's in the movie anyway.

Honestly the chapter itself was enough to contradict, then the recaps contradict the movie when even the movie itself was already a contradiction in it's own right. and I'm not going to explain them all, there tons of threads which has stated the errors from both naruto and sasuke's side in regards to feats and even story context and now this hyuuga nonsense that stretches all the way back to the LAST with the tenseigan. honestly think about the accuracy of the source material. this manga is essentially a different writer branched his story off a different writer(boruto) who branched their story from a different writer(the last) because all got the approval or so they say got "involved" with kishi. lmao this series even if it's canon it's about as credible as GT.

The inacuracies with Naruto and Sasuke are the movie's to blame more than the manga itself, and I don't really get how the rest is a problem. Unless you wanted even MORE Uchiha, which in that case....to each his own.
