Maybe, but Madara doesn't consider the concept of love repugnant considering he still loves his brother and both share a similar connection by being able to revive the ones they love through Infinite Tsukyomi. Madara might not understand it completely, but he understands the motive behind Obito's actions.

More than likely, Madara understood and emphasized with Obito, but I think his amusement came from the fact that he was pleased with himself for being able to manipulate Obito and the fact that his whole plan came to fruition despite him not even being alive to make sure it went smoothly.

I laugh when my plans come to fruition, albeit a sinister chuckle.
