It might be a bit early for theories...but something just occurred to me.
It is easily noted that the seal wielded by Boruto is very similar to the two seals wielded by Sasuke and Naruto.
Now, as we know, those two seals were originally wielded by Hagoromo himself and gifted to them, and once used by Naruto and Sasuke to seal Kaguya, they reappeared on his hands.
So....why, in Kaguya's flashback, did Hamura partake in her sealing with him?
Could it be that Hamura has another seal that could be used in the same jutsu? Could this seal be the same one that Boruto gained after contact with another Otsusuki? Boruto is the son of Hinata, who as the Last confirms, descends directly from Hamura. I have no concrete idea what this could really mean, but it is worth noting that much like Sasuke and Naruto, Boruto's and Kawaki's seals are located on opposite palms.
So, what do you guys think this could mean, if anything at all?
