To my knowledge Noriyuki was among the best Bleach animator staff and we all know our man Hiroyuki, the best SP animator who once partake the boruto movie is now gonna direct the Boruto anime instead of that Hayate who screwed up Naruto Shitpooden. I dunno much of mokoto but he did some seasonal anime such as assasination classroom.

Best of all, they are not gonna butchered the Boruto Movie unlike DBS and instead they are gonna start off with the original story. Get Ready for that Boruto Anime GREATNESS!

They never tell us why, people just speculate things, I mean from what we can tell, one can easily assume that Bleach manga got cancelled because Kubo has very bad terms with Shonen jump.

Does high quality animation mean much when the anime got cancelled?

Plus the story is an original script, meaning it's just going to be filler anyway. Kishimoto wants it to be light and fun for the kids, there's probably much more hope elsewhere for interesting anime.

Usually original stories created by the animation studio are considered filler. That's what the thread was talking about anyway. Either a confirmation or interview will come out stating otherwise, or we'll just assume this logic.

Cause in the same article, the authors stated the sequel was the Manga version written by Ukyo/Ikemoto. Rather than the sequel being both Manga + Anime.

Bleach movie "plot wise" does sucks but in terms of visualization you cannot deny it, especially when comparing Bleach anime to Naruto, it's generally better.
