Anyone excited for the new chapter of the Boruto manga? New content begins tomorow. I'm curious to see how Naruto failed to protect Konoha. But hopefully they don't cover it right away. Boruto looked to be Part 2 Naruto's age. I'd prefer they cover their Part One ages for awhile before moving ahead.
Anyway, let's recall how his predecessors dealt with threats in times of danger.
Hashirama - Known as The God of Shinobi, fought & defeated Madara who wielded the Nine Tailed Demon Fox. Having him under his complete control in attempts to kill him & destroy Konoha. Hashirama defeated Madara & captured the Kyuubi. It's been in Konoha's possession ever since.
Tobirama - Established the Ninja Academy, Chunin Exams, Anbu Black Ops, etc, which have proven to be fundamental to the Shinobi system even in the current times of peace.
Hiruzen - Also known as The God of Shinobi, who knew & could perform all existing jutsu in Konoha. Protected the village during the Sound and Sand invasion led by the infamous criminal Orochimaru. Whom he defeated even though he used his former teachers against him.
Minato - Hailed as the Fastest Shinobi in history. Saved the village from Tobi - under the guise of Uchiha Madara, & the Kyuubi. Protecting all the villagers, his friends, his kid, & his Wife - his Bae, the woman he loves, the Mother of his Child. THAT'S MANLY & COOL! Furthermore he sealed the Kyuubi in Naruto which proved to be very useful for him & others in the future again & again.
Tsunade - Stood up to the Rinnegan user Pain & summoned Katsuyu to shield everyone from his massive Shinra Tensei he used to wreck the village.
Kakashi - His best student used the technique he taught him to save the village from a meteor which fall from the moon. The place where Naruto was, in combat struggling against the Villian Toneri.
Naruto - Attained God-like power at the age of 17 thus becoming far above everyone in the world aside his superior rival. 20 years later gets owned by some kid from the new generation. Konoha gets destroyed & his Son faces the villian - one of his peers. THAT'S WEAK & LAME.
