Well I said this last year when the first Stage Play was revealed and I'll say it again this year with the reveal of the second Stage Play:

If whoever is in charge of the US Live Action film had any brains of even the smallest degree, they would do everything in their power to hire the costume and makeup department of this production. If there was one thing that never translates well from a manga to live action, it's adapting the look and style of an anime into the real world. My breath was stolen from me when I saw how the costumes and makeup looked in the Stage Play last year, and they certainly haven't lost their touch this time around either.

I really like the Sera Myu (Sailor Moon Musical plays). I'd love to see these Naruto ones. Make me forget how terrible the manga and anime became.

These costumes....are really spot on. Kudos to costume designers and make up. They outdid themselves. Sai looks pretty badass here....even more so than the manga/anime XD

No way.

This looks way too cheaply done for a movie. It will be bad enough if it's executed badly, never mind if they're turned out with amateurish costumes and make-up.
