Uchiha's seem good at keeping pets, as in tailed beasts. And plus, if the MS being able to control the Nine-tails seemed to be a clan secret kept under the Naka Shrine in the stone tablet, there is a possibility that other Uchiha's awakened their Mangekyo and were afraid that other clan members would try to take their eyes and make off like a bandit.

It wasn't control. That's a misconception. Hashirama subdued him. Madara could control him.

When a bijuu or anything living for that matter comes in contact with Hashirama's Mokuton their chakra is absorbed. When he did this to Kurama he was so weakened by it that he was drooling and couldn't even move anymore.

Not the same thing as using your eyes to actually make him attack for you like Madara. Hashirama's answer to control was his wife Mito making a jinchuriki to keep Kurama in check.

OT: it didn't happen because Hashirama plain and simple. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried and Hashi brought the wood out to back him into submission.

However, it's such a formidable part of the Sharingan's arsenal that if used almost all the time, most fights would have been shorter than usual. Yeah taking away or limiting genjutsu usage honestly makes the sharingan strong but not broken. There was reason why chiyo said 2v1 or run.

Of course, they were. It made no sense not to use MS after Hashirama's demise. From the history lesson we have been getting, he died not that long after Madara's defeat. Also, there is no proof that some kind of special talent is required to control Nine-Tails when the Sharingan is built to overpower tailed-beasts at basic 3Tomoe level bar Kurama, for which MS seems to be some kind of condition. Stupid, but no matter.

I find it hilarious how they let Tobirama continue on with his oppression for years.
