To me personally, I'd say I'm more attracted towards techniques like Flicker Evasion, Sky Walk and Little Toe Attack. The main reason is that they are much more simple than the other EIG techniques, they involve simple actions like evading an attack my moving in a particular direction, simply walking on air or a kick. I won't say that I consider these techniques to be superior to the other EIG techniques but I will say that I prefer simple techniques like these over other complex ones.

I do have my favorites amongst the 'big famous EIG techs' as well xD. They are Daytime Tiger and Evening Elephant because the user does not have to enter into Short Range with the enemy to perform them (most people tend to avoid Short Range with EIG users) and they receive the EIG boost as well. If I had to choose between Daytime Tiger and Evening Elephant, I would go with the latter because Evening Elephant is not only stronger, but it doesn't have any side-effect that causes the user to faint after two turns.

I definitely see myself using other EIG techniques that I haven't mentioned here (Night Guy, Morning Peacock, Powerful Whirlwind of the Leaf), it's just that the ones I mentioned are the ones I prefer.

Now, as far as EIG Tai, Normal Tai and NB Tai is concerned, I think it sort of depends. I don't have NB Tai unfortunately so lets ignore that but if I did, I would definitely use it alongside EIG.

As far as Canon Normal Tai and EIG Tai is considered, I honestly don't see myself using Canon Tai after I have activated EIG because I personally think that EIG Tai compliments EIG more, instead of me just using normal Tai. Ofcourse like I said, it still sort of depends upon the situation because there are certain Normal Tai techniques that could go pretty well with EIG. This includes Leaf Dragon God, Leaf Crushing Storm, Zeus and Leaf Rock Destroying Rise.

Leaf Dragon God is particularly good. It really is a wonderful technique to use when one's access to Ninjutsu has been restricted. As for the rest; shame about not having access to Kaito's, but all in all not a huge loss. With the speed and power of EIG the exact manner in which you engage an enemy becomes less essential than it usually is. The danger variables of your opponent really kinda flatten out when you're going at 6x speed.
But yeah, Sky Walk and Flicker Evasion are really solid, supplementary techniques. There will be ample opportunity to use these to dodge incoming Ninjutsu from your opponent.

(Chiratsuki Kaihi) Flicker Evasion
Type: Defensive
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description:
A skill usable by all EIG users and masters, once one has opened at least one of the EIG, he will move at high speeds to dodge, attack or defend from techniques. The ability pertains to movement in the battle field, meaning running, walking, jumping, dashing, etc and its speed depends on the Gate currently opened.
Note: This version can only be used by EIG masters with at least one gate opened
( Sukaiu~ōku ) - Sky Walk
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: A skill usable by all EIG users and masters, once one has opened at least six of the EIG, he will gain the ability to walk on air to dodge, attack or defend from techniques. The ability pertains to movement in the air, meaning walking, jumping, dashing off the air itself etc and its speed depends on the Gate currently opened.
Note: Must have at least one gate opened.

Finally, do you have any questions about the Gates or the associated techniques? If not, honestly, I can't think of much more to tech you.
