according to kishi boruto manga is a mini-series which means it is limited in chapters (yes,yes,yes). He also said it was going to be shorter than naruto part 1 and naruto shippuden.

boruto manga give us 40 pages per chapter, it will be quick death 1-3 years probably less if manga books sells not good, compare and contrast that against naruto manga which gave us 10-12 pages per chapter. Boruto manga go on a pace faster than naruto manga with less details page by page.

You underestimate the reach of Naruto. The fact that this site is still active two years after the manga's ending just goes to prove that much.
