Considering how much his hatred brought him so far, it's reasonable to think he left the shinobi world not regretting his doings so much.

But one could say he still was sad and "regretted" saying "maybe I should have gone that way" etc.

What do you think? In your opinion, did he regret to the point he didn't want the Mugen Tsukuyomi anymore? Or when he said "My dream" it means he would still do it?

Well, Madara wasn't exactly the kind of a dude who would redeem himself much, but you can say that's the closest he's got

Mistranslated.

He actually had no problem doing that with hashirama now. But i'd check the viz scans just to be sure.

He would say....Take your clan and travel to the far east and settle down!

That's more like it XD

I wonder why Uchihagakure never existed. It's somewhat realistic because tribes and clans in our world are actually what built the countries today.

I think because he recognized himself and Naruto in Madara and Hashirama at that moment and was a little sadden because he knew what he was about to do next, which was kill Naruto.

I'm not so sure he was filled with as much regret as say.... reflection... i think he just kind of realized that maybe hashis way wasn't as wrong as he thought and that his way wasn't as right as he thought... kinda similar to the danzo scene after he releases that seal.. where danzo is reflecting on how he lived his life as opposed to hiruzen

Well even with what he had done, I felt bad for him considering his painful past and how strong and proud he used to be.

Considering the fact that the Uchiha Clan had a hideout, I'm sure that they were nomadic, even at the size that they were at during the Warring States Era. I bet there were about 800-1,000 members at the time.

He's had that expression ever since getting the Eternal Mangekyo, I doubt it's sadness. Uchiha's don't seem sensitive to the death of a distant cousin.

I feel exactly the same way. I imagine how pain it would be to die around those who made you suffer the most and those who will continue the system.

the key thing to look at is where he acknowledges the IT plan as still being his dream, so he hasn't really regretted anything other than the end result of his dream as opposed to a world under IT being his dream.

True.

He was more upset about the fact that everyone turning into Zetsu's was gonna be the result of the plan, rather than the plan itself. On top of that, everyone there was about to continue the system of shinobi that he intended to destroy.
