Konohamru will never be hokage. In the Boruto movie he is already older than Naruto was when Naruto became Hokage. By the time Naruto's time as Hokage is over which will take a while since Naruto is still relatively young, Someone like Sarada or someone else from her generation will be ready to be Hokage. He will never achieve his dream and will have his only accomplishment being the mediocre sensei of Naruto's brat.

Given his screen time i think he managed pretty well to be called talented but i would rather him mix up his jutsu with a little bit of Asuma and Hiruzen techniques though instead of being a complete carbon copy of Naruto
