Ok Sasuke won the fight BUT Naruto was successful in keeping Sasuke busy long enough to make Orochimaru impatient and to take another host instead.Had Naruto not come to Sasuke or had he lost the fight earlier,the world would have met an end


I don't think Sasuke would ever admit this but he was actually suicidal and knew that Orochimaru had no intention to train him.For him it was either death or proper training from a sannin,both better options than living with his comrades in Konoha.


So he should be grateful to Naruto for the things he was able to do after vote 1.But then again Team Taka saved Sasuke's ass in every battle and still he wasn't grateful.

Yeah and in real battle Naruto has never shown the ability to resist genjutsu and Sasuke had the ability to simultaneously put all nine tailed beasts in a genjutsu but can't put Naruto and the tailed beast inside of him that Sasuke has already suppressed before into a genjtsu at the same time. Why not you ask? Well plot no jutsu would be the answer.
