I wish if they were more focused on the backtories of Hamura and Toneri , and Toneri would've made a good villain if he wasn't a Hinata fanboy , I mean it would be the tale of the God who wanted to punish the humanity for it is bad use of chakra .

but nope , they decided to make him a love rival , which is really lame , as if he desired "raping" more than he desired punching the humanity

I myself don't care about parings. I myself hate the movie because it was mainly advertised with Sasuke. I and many other people expected Sasuke to have a decent role in the movie, but nope. This just goes to show how Sasuke is a major money maker and a great source of advertisement for the Naruto mark.

In other words, we were scammed and Sasuke became a support character to let Hinata "shine" throughout the movie.
