When Kishi was asked about Sasusaku he said that he never really gave Sakura a reason to like Sasuke. The reason he never did was because to him it would have been contrived to even come up with one. There is a reason why Sasuke and Sakura both had their own novels set after the war and yet their was no Sasusaku interaction in them at all. The truth is the pairing makes so little sense and Sasuke would have to act so out of character for it to happen that they have no idea how to show it happening besides just telling us to accept that it did.

Sasuke didn't deserve nor earn Sakura's genuine feelings or romantic interest, he was a d!ck head twoards her in addition too important people in her life and she almost killed him for it. I mean you can't fault her for wanting the best for Sasuke and believed he was capable of being good person (like Naruto) but wanting a romantic realationship him was stupid. Anyway the only redeeming quality about SS is Sarada and artwork but those are contrived qualities.

Side note: bathing in holy water becuase you have to be purified in order to touch such beauty.
