I saw some members say that even before the manga gets this far but honestly i didnt see the link so we can ask someone else who claims that..the new writer replacing a lot of stuff in the final fight, including demon momoshik's design, is quite an evidence that it wasnt kishi who wrote the final fight or designed demon momoshiki.

Movie was canon, then the manga came out and retcon it. So yeah, kishi did discredit it by allowing the boruto manga to recap movie events with some changes. Don't get me wrong, i still see no reason for this recap to exist other than to milk the series more.
