-NOW THE PROBLEM WITH OROCHIMARU'S QUOTE is that Orochimaru was only relying on his own knowledge about Sasuke to make that Judjment..plus of this ,Orochimaru was unaware of the other's true strenght ,i mean Madara's..forexemple Orochimaru dont know that Madara is able to break free from Edotensei


2nd- Notice well that when Orochimaru said that, sasuke had EMS but still not rinne-sharingan yet, whilst Madara was still in his edo form ...thus :

A) when Sasuke had EMS Blind Madara could still beat him...

B) when Sasuke had EMS one rinnegan-Madara KILLED HIM !!

C) when Sasuke tried to surpass Madara via hagoromo's Rinnesharingan free powerups, Rikudo Madara already became stronger then him lolllllllllz

but you have some mistakes:
1- Eventhought Madara is stronger than Sasuke that doesn't make him a fodder and Sasuke can still make a good fight with rikodou Madara.
2- orochimaru knew that Madara broke the edo tensei's seal because remember he has all of kabuto's knowledge when he absorbed his own senjutsu chakra from kabuto + orochimaru know how powerful Madara is and aware of all the techniques he has. He said that Sasuke can surpass rinnegan Madara at maximum which is something Sasuke already achieved.
So at the end:
Rinnegan Sasuke > Rinnegan Madara
Rikodou Madara > Rinnegan Sasuke

Putting Sasuke against Rinne Madara would be a good bout..

But I think Madz'll take it.. Susano'o an genjutsu would just cancel each other out,Fire styles would cancel each other out.. (Madz was feared for his katon) So it would mean CQC taijutsu.
We've seen the out come of that when they were both alive.. (Sasuke lost that bout, EMS for both of them at that point with Madz having a small advantage because of his Rinne activation)
