I feel like out of the 7 times, a couple of them were from the same person/people.. not 7 times = 7 different people/fights..

I did put WB in the list before.But I put another character in the list and i had to remove one of the characters on the list.By mistake i removed the wrong one.

He was captured by enemies or marines 18 times, so I guess most of those defeats are thanks to the navy. And it makes sense that Garp and Sengoku were responsible for that a couple of times.

Also how he was speaking about Whitebeard there is a little hint of rivalry between the two of them in his words. So Whitebeard might have a couple of wins.

Those are the best educated guesses. The rest I highly doubt and is just a lottery of big names.

Perhaps the difference is that he and his crew have been beat 7 times but he has been beat 18 times when he was alone.

Hmm.. maybe it means that "defeat" was all out fighting where he lost..

And the "captured" times include moments where the Navy or his enemies found ways to immobilize him without actually having to fully fight him..

But idk.. lol

Even if somebody is able to use some df ability to stop him from moving/fighting(resulting him in his captured) means he got defeated by that guy.

I'd add Moriah as he was said to be his rival once upon a time. Personally, I also think bet on either Akainu or Kizaru. The two were in the marines longer and were among their most competent fighters. With Sengoku having responsibilities of FA and Garp lounging god knows where someone had to step in for his arrests.

They were never stated to be rivals, IIRC. Just that Kaido killed all of Moriah's crew.

Seems before Walords flopped they could muster power to keep up with their Yonko peers. Makes sense the WG would hire them.
