For the first one, I have two points:

1.) Itachi is an Uchiha, who were said to be the most prestigious clan in Konoha.

2.) Itachi was raised during the time of war, so villages would push children to graduate from the academy at an earlier age to beef their numbers up.

Not really. Only after he was utterly and completely defeated did he reflect. Itachi was doing this even as a child and prior to the Uchiha massacre.

Madara tried to justify his action by placing the world in a dream state. He didn't really see himself as wrong for this. Itachi did from get go.

I can't really say I respect Itachi as a whole. But I can respect that he knew he was wrong even while he did wrong.

Itachi is not an Indra/Hagoromo transmigrant. He didn't inherit anything from Indra or Hagoromo. That was all Itachi. Let's not elevate him higher than he already is.
