You right guys, I recently finished Gurren Lagann series and the the movie ”Gurren Lagann The Movie: The Lights in the Sky are Stars” and is one of the best anime I've ever seen :T_T:
Amazing and epic battles, good story and characters.. this anime is so good.

It's made by the people who made Gurren Lagann so yea it is.

Congrats man! Gurren Lagann is forever top 3 for me.

Kill La Kill is made by the same people who made gurren lagann so it has similar aesthetics, senseless motivational speeches and over the topness. The story has a much less serious tone though and overall not as jaw dropping as Gurren lagann but the way things escalate it is definitely a daughter of it.

If not anything else, it's just as fun to watch.

Well...Kill la Kill is awesome don't get me wrong...but I don't see how it's nearly as over the top as Toriko. I would place Toriko on a higher caliber than Kill la Kill, too bad Toriko got animated by shitty Toei. It should've gotten animated by Gainax or Trigger (with the same staff as TTGL/Kill La Kill).

Kill la kill is still amazing.
