Orochimaru found himself with an odd student. A man who is apparently known for his religious ways, yet is quite the opposite. A dark priest of sorts. Orochimaru had no interest in religious ways, however, this man sought more power. And he gained the right to do so, either through his infamy or fame, or the fact that teaching this man these dark arts would be a mix of blasphemy or irony. Such an opportunity could not pass Orochimaru, who was a well known user of Kinjutsu after all, his own type though. This man required the normal Kinjutsu, a skill not many knew.

"You come before me today wanting to learn Kinjutsu, huh? Kukuku, are you ready for it...hm. Tell me, what is Kinjutsu really? What does it encompass and why is labeled as such."

Orochimaru asks, as he sits upon a dark throne inside a cave, with very little light shone on him.

Priest spots the pale man approach him whilst he wait for his teacher. The man won't go past him and he's actually giving Priest his attention. This make Priest concludes that the man could be his teacher.
Watching the man's demeanour, his laugh. It reminds him of someone he had thought to be a myth. The snake himself had shed his own skin.
"You come before me today wanting to learn Kinjutsu, huh? Kukuku, are you ready for it...hm. Tell me, what is Kinjutsu really? What does it encompass and why is labeled as such."

Priest heard the question which further confirm he is the teacher. While also taking a meditative pose, he'll begin to answer. May I call you sensei? Yes. To my best of knowledge. Kinjutsu also known as. "Forbidden Jutsu" are techniques that not only known for their overall risk, danger they pose but are also known for breaking the laws of nature. It was said that it was the reason while they are banned and forbidden. The risk of forbidden jutsu are severe because unlike the normal forbidden ranked technique, they either cause irreparable damage to the user or death. There are thing that can be done with forbidden jutsus that violates the laws of nature. Examples are reviving the dead, making human sacrifices, cheating death etc.

With the answer, Priest breathes signifying he's done with answering the question and he looks forwards to other instructions from his sensei.

 

[Detective L]

It seemed the Holy Man understood the concept of Kinjutsu quite well. He understood what it meant to dabble, and oh, how people would love to dabble in these arts. Orochimaru merely smiled as he walked slightly forward, and extended his hand outwards to the man, and showed him the way.

"Indeed. Kinjutsu is a dark path, but one worth traveling. Once you enter this path, you will forever be changed. Its effects will haunt you, and you will, trust me, you will change your perspective on everything. So.."

Orochimaru asked, as he started sinking into the ground, a drop down area which led to where the training would take place.

"...follow me if you dare. Kukuku."

Orochimaru's laugh echoes upwards as he descends downwards.

Maybe Oro had no idea his ideals and how deep he is in the Holiness business. Priest had wanted to cross to the other side to gain experience and even though a little evil is not too much. "Give Caesar what's Caesar's". To be able to let go so as to receive. Priest is sacrificing his purity so he can gain all.

Priest follows Orochimaru into the dark places while keeping close observation of everything he sees and hears.

If you think Kinjutsu would change me, then you don't know me at all. This is a little sacrifice compared to the feat that comes next. I seek power yet I'm not greedy. I seek darkness yet I'm holy though I only dabble to understand darkness itself.

It seemed he was ready after all, despite his paradoxical ideology. Orochimaru merely scoffed at the thought of actually teaching a Priest, however, he seemed to be worthy. Upon descending into the darkness, Orochimaru would manipulate his Fire based chakra and release a small flame to ignite a torch, which lights up the dark area a bit, still leaving the gloomy effect to linger. Suddenly, a bunch of bodies could be seen, all dead of course. Preserved within bags, horrified faces upon their dead bodies. Orochimaru could only imagine what the Priest was thinking at this point, but what did he expect? This was Kinjutsu, no joke.

"So, here we have various bodies for you to experiment on. The first Kinjutsu technique requires a face of someone. It should be removed, and as such, one can wear it. This allows one to..spy on other villages, or even people. Very useful. From what I know, you must have some scalpels. Here, have some of mine, to remove one of those faces."

Orochimaru says, as he slams his hand onto a table, and summons forth a medical based scalpel, perfect for cutting off a face.

Description: Shoushagan no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used for spying. A dark technique, the jutsu involves the removal of the face of the person to be impersonated. By wearing their face and clothing, the ninja can impersonate the original without others being aware.

 

[Priest]

"This dude must be involved in some kinda serial shit" thought Priest, as he witnessed the gruesome scene. His teacher is really what they say he is - has no regard for life. For once, Priest fears he's gonna have to become as foked up as Oro but he assured himself that those corpse might be people who were bad when they are alive. Priest can make do with experimenting with bad guys. That would suffice. He proceed to use the scalpel to skin one of the corpse's face off and though its quite irritating and impure, he manages to swallow his disgust and plaster it on his face while using his chakra to make the skin merge with his face thus assuming the facial appearance of the corpse.

Note to self: "Sensei is a bad person, I'll kill him after I use him to gain power". Priest listened to himself. "Oh no!, my thoughts are now becoming bad. Am I turning bad?"

 

[Detective L]

He was able to follow the instructions easily. However, Orochimaru required more from the Priest, however. Kinjutsu was no joke, it required one to fully understand the mechanics behind the techniques, to have fully said one has mastered the Forbidden Arts.

"So, Priest, how would you use this specific technique to your advantage? Hm, and what would you say are the advantages of this technique, or disadvantages of it. Tell me, so we move on to, greater things."

Priest removes the face immediately while using water to wash his face. This place is already filthy enough, yet he had to succumb to relating with something impure. Its one of the sacrifices one must make to ascend. Priest listened to what Orochimaru would say about his performance. He believe he should not be surprised yet since the technique is basic and the least of more complex ones to come.

Having listened to his sensei's question, Priest procced to answer, while cleaning his face with a white handkerchief.

I would use this to deceive and infiltrate. For example, I could kill a ninja or a normal person from the village who is well known or less. I could then infiltrate the village posing as the person. However, my actions and mimicry would be limited else I risk giving myself out. The person I'm impersonating, I may not be able to get his entire attitude or I may not even know how he behaves at all. This may make people suspicious of my person. The voice too would be different and unless I know the voice of the deceased and copy it, then this would be a silent disguise. I would definitely be known by chakr sensors who knew the chakra signature of the deceased and would easily be identified as this technique does not change chakra signature nor any other physical features like the height, weight, eye color etc. Just the face.

A horrid smell follows, as some bodies could be seen coming up with the platform, with the more open area now. However, these bodies weren't dead, no. They were subjects, ones Orochimaru had used to test the Curse Mark with. About 4 subjects emerge in a rage and blast towards both Orochimaru and the Priest. Or so the Priest thought, as Orochimaru disappeared in a plume of smoke. A clone, the original standing high above the field on the building from whence they came.

"..Try making...more clones. Up to 8 can be made. Its a Kinjutsu, and you'll have to force your chakra to do so, or I am afraid, you won't survive the attacks of the subjects and they seem pretty...angry."

He says, as his sinister laugh echoes over the screams of the raged Curse Mark test subjects.

Each clone is equal to the ones created by the original, simpler technique and can use all the techniques the user can.
Note: Usable only once per battle, disabling the further use of clones of any kind for the rest of the match.

A rather silent response from Orochimaru and though Priest would have expected a kudos, but that means, the man would be going against his own reputation. Priest smirks. Instead of responding, the man enters deeper into darkness while motioning Priest to follow suit. Priest would not hesitate and would do as said. Priest would have to deal with the pungent smell oozing from dead organics on the way, majority of them been used tissue, snake skins that had been shed, corpses, worms and other creepy things. Orochimaru himself is creepy and Priest wondered if he too would turn out creepy like the snake himself. But if he becomes like Oro, people won't come to him for confession and santification. Maybe if he promises them he'll make them younger, they'll turn up. No, now they'll think he's into voodoo stuff.

"Now, the next skill, is quite a peculiar one. Made famous by someone..well know throughout the Ninja World. I assume you know how to do the shadow clone technique.."

Priest wonders how peculiar a jutsu could be for Oro to sugar-coat it so well. However, when he hear him talk about if him knowing the shadow clone technique, he begins to re-think his expectation if its mere shadow clone technique. Priest was initially feeling relaxed as he had mastered the jutsu Oro mentioned even from his time in the academy. He was at ease not until everything becomes more creepy, gloomy and smelling.

Oh! What is that? Wait, you no longer feel the smell? I could...

Priest was interrupted by the emergence of living beings, coming out from the shit hole. Almost reminiscent to a horror movie, only they don't look like a Zombie. However, the way they look and lunge towards, Priest he'd be dead if he is not alert. Orochimaru on the other hand, had tricked him as he poofed away while his maniacal voice echoed from somewhere, telling him to make more that the default amount of clones that can be made. Priest needed time to process the info before he could actually focus, but the beasts Oro set him up with are upon him. He would cause snakes to burst forth from his sleeves while adding his killing intent to immobilize them in pairs, holding two together in a tight grip on each sides while the white snakes slithers around and constricts them. Priest knows the bondage is not going to hold them for long so in the short timeframe, he tries to understand the jutsu.
Thinking....

" Shadow clone needs me to equally divide my chakra into four places and use my chakra to manifest my own form as a separate physical being in four places. By using more chakra for the manifestation and splitting my chakra reserve into something much more than before, I can transcend the amount of clones I make. The jutsu is cool to overwhelm an opponent or to even up the scores when one is overwhelmed, however, the risk is too much. My chakra would suffer a drastic cut in the process. This is not a jutsu to be used anyhow unless, my chakra is quite buoyant or I'm in dire need. Any which way, I can not use it when my chakra is low."

With this understanding, Priest weaves a single handseal while imbuing more chakra with perfect chakra control, distributing it into 8 different portions and then manifesting his own image around the chakra, making them to take form as his clones. Immediately the clones were made, the snakes holding the beasts got tired and poof back to Ruichi Cave. The clones would quickly get to work, taking the beasts, 2 to 1 and in no time, they'll defeat them, tiring them out and restraining them in the cave.

Orochimaru stated as the Priest utilized his chakra and skill, in order to create a large amount of clones to fight off the hordes of Curse Mark subjects. Nonetheless, his chakra would be in low supply at this point, but Orochimaru knew that he couldn't risk killing the man..just yet. No, he still had a few techniques that he had to learn.

"Here, take this."

Orochimaru offered the Priest a pill, a chakra replenishing one at that.

"Now, the next technique is not a simple one and possibly, one of the most dangerous techniques you will ever encounter. Dangerous...and inhumane. Tell me, what do you know of Edo Tensei?"

Orochimaru's voice crackled through the dark halls of the research facility they were in. It was dark and broody, the perfect conditions for resurrecting the dead.

 

[Priest]

Priest was indeed tired and it seems Orochimaru had notice he is begin to suffer from severe lack of chakra. As he sees the pill Oro extends to him, he had seen it before. He knows Orochimaru was infact telling the truth about it being a chakra pill. He takes it and gulps it down

So the renown snake has some compassion in him and it dawn on Priest that no one would have a perfect meter of hatred. Atleast some form of love and compassion would be there lurking.

As he was asked about Edo Tensei, Priest knew he had heard the word before. Infact he had witnessed someone using it before. I've seen people raised from the dead and they now become puppet for whoever raised them. I dunno how that's possible until you mentioned it now. Now it makes sense. The only logical answer to it would be kinjutsu. However, I happen to make some findings about it and I learnt that those resurrected have at one time, had their dna sample collected and the sample is what would be used to summon them from the dead. A shell is perhaps needed, so which means the summoning also needs a living sacrifice. Up until now, I am unable to move further in my research.

Priest looks at Orochimaru after his answer hoping he was on the right track.

However, in order to revive a person, their DNA is needed and their souls need to reside in the pure world. If the Death God had consumed their souls, or they have been sealed by other methods, they can not be brought back. A living sacrifice is needed to act as a vessel, where they will be placed on a scroll, with the DNA of the person you wish to resurrect there as well. Once activated, a seal spreads and dust and ash encase the vessel, where it then gains the appearance of the person brought back. They are then stored in a casket, till needed in battle."

Orochimaru says, as he grabs a scroll from his pouch.

"Now, for this, we need a vessel and someone we want to bring back."

Orochimaru points his fingers towards two of the subjects the Priest had fought, unleashing snakes towards them, who crush their necks.

"Use them."

So cruel. Barbaric indeed, seeing Orochimaru could kill test subject anytime he wants. Preist feels filthy but that's what he sign for. He had do play along for the time being. He would quickly move close to the corpse and cut out a portion of their flesh, putting them in two separate plastic bags. After collection, I would incapacitate 2 of the living test subjects using 2 snakes, dragging them and holding them down separately, then I would smear the dna samples on the scrolls, forming sealing formulas below living vessels. They would be turned to those that was killed by orochimaru. Finally I'll keep them in the casket.

Priest turns to orochimaru. I have a question.

If the edo tensei summons are hit by a technique, how long do they have before they recover in terms of turns? Say they are blown to pieces, would they return immediately to their former self or next turn?

Should I want to use the summonings as a defense, how much defense is their body worth?


The technique is an abomination but is useful in its own way. The summons might fight for Priest whenever he has no interest in stressing himself of if does not want to get his hands dirty.

 

[Detective L]

"One turn, and just like any other human body, though these do regenerate in the aforementioned time. Nonetheless, well done."

He stated, as he pointed towards the two caskets, which now contained the Edo'd patients.

"Bring forth one. He will be needed for the next technique."

Following Orochimaru's instructions, Priest begins to weave the Tiger → Snake → Dog → Dragon and claps his hands. Immediately, one of the casket would sit upright and open up, revealing the corpse though not yet living. Priest would proceed to bring it to life by placing a seal in its head.

Priest turns towards Orochimaru to see his response if he was doing the right thing or he had moved farther than expected.

Clasping your hands together, you will cause a coffin to emerge near the opponent (in short range of the opponent). From this coffin, ghostly arms reach out and pull the opponent into it, leaving them unable to react and then stuck in another dimension, which can only be escaped by Space Time Ninjutsu. Use it on your own Edo Tensei."

Orochimaru says, as he waits for Priest to do so.

Description: The user claps their hands, causing a coffin, much like the ones used in Impure World Reincarnation, to erupt from a portal near the opponent. The coffin opens up, and ghostly arms reach out from the coffin and catch the opponent. If they successfully catch the opponent, he will be immobilized and unable to react. The arms drag him into the coffin and take him to the netherworld, a dimension separate from reality and which can only be escaped from via Space/Time techniques.
Note: The arms reach only up to short range of the coffin's position
