Lmao Amaterasu one shots.

In your fanfiction perhaps. Not in Kishimotos story.

-Minatos nickname was the "Yellow Flash".
When he moves, his yellow hair leaves a streak of light in his path. This is specifically for movement, not teleportation. There is no light in teleportation. Light can't escape. When Minato teleports, there is no streak, light, or anything. When Tobirama teleports, there is no streak or light. When Sasuke teleports, there is no streak or light. When Obito teleports, there is no streak or light. When Kaguya teleports, there is no light or streak. When Minatos guards teleports Mei, there is no light or streak. When someone or something is summoned, there is no streak or light.

When Ay moves, we see a blue streak/light. When his father moves, we see a blue streak/light. When Gai and Lee move with Gates, we see a green streak/light hence their nickname's, the "Green Beast" and "Green Devil" of Konoha. When KCM Naruto moves, we see a streak/light. The first time Killer Bee called his speed similar to the "yellow flash" Kakashi thought he was the Yellow Flash. When Tsunade seen Narutos shunshin against Ay, what she say? Oh, "Just like the Yellow Flash!" When Bee saw it, what'd he say? "That really looked like the Yellow Flash"

What stands out about all the people who leaves streaks/light/afterimages? They're physically moving. Minato was so fast without teleportation he left streaks which is where his name comes from. Hirashin doesn't leave streaks or afterimages, no light escapes from teleportation, it's from his natural speed like the rest of them.

Ay admitted Minato was faster than him. Ay can dodge Amaterasu. That means Minato can dodge Amaterasu too, even better, because he'll sense it coming long before. But of course none of these facts mean anything to you because fuck what the author writes.

Lol accusing one of fan fiction when this post itself is fan fiction:

Flying Thunder God (Hiraishin no Jutsu)

Ninjutsu, S-rank, Supplementary, All Ranges

User: Fourth Hokage

Flight across space and time completed in a flash-like instant!! Swiftness that surpasses Body Flicker!

Fourth Hokage’s jutsu, the reason for his alias Yellow Flash! His high-speed movement over long distances…it is really space-time movement. To activate the jutsu, he needs a jutsu-formula to mark the destination. Fourth applies a jutsu-formula to weapons such as kunai in advance. It is also possible to leave it in a touched area, and when it is engraved on an enemy’s body, it becomes a curse seal with a sentence of death!

He saves Kakashi and at the same time leaves a jutsu-formula on the enemy’s leg.

It is not comparable to the movement speed of Body Flicker. The principle is similar to that of Summoning.

The Yellow Flash name was based on his teleportation technique and his superiority to Ay in terms of speed, was based on FTG.

I will never understand why dumbasses like you type wallls and walls of horseshit expecting me or anyone else with common sense to ever agree with you. Minato is the yellow flash because of hiraishin. End of story. Minato gets one shorted. End of discussion

To think one can one shot the other is absurd, especially characters this powerful. It would never go down that way ever.

Itachi wins though.

-Denies just about everything in the Databooks that doesn't fit their arguments.
-Accepts something in the Databooks that fits their argument.
-Legit ?

You can't pick and choose what's true in the Databooks and what's not. There is nothing that can rival teleportation. It is an infinite speed. Zero time passes when Minato teleports. Your DB entry says itself that it's not comparable with the regular shunshin so Ay cannot possibly be ever compared to FTG because infinite speed (instant) is far beyond him. He can never rival FTG... and yet his DB entry says he has speed to rival the Yellow Flash. Cee states his speed and reflexes are on par with the Yellow Flash. Reflexes aren't jutsu, they're physical movements.

re·flex\ˈrē-ˌfleks\
noun
: an action or movement of the body that happens automatically as a reaction to something

Tobi seen his shunshin, not FTG, and said he lives up to his Yellow Flash nickname. KCM Naruto shunshin was said to be just like the Yellow Flahses by Bee, Tsunade, and Kakashi. All people who have witnessed Minatos shunshin as well. Again, one doesn't see Minato when he teleports, it's literally impossible to see instant. Streaks come from physical movements as the manga showed over and over and over and over again.

Tobirama was never renowned for speed and his FTG is just as fast as Minatos. Tobirama was never called a white flash or blue flash. Tobirama is hailed as the fastest of his era, Minato is hailed as the fastest in history. Common sense tells you this isn't FTG because they're equal in that aspect. Ay said he the fastest since Minato died but we know he isn't faster than Genma and company since they can preform FTG so again, common sense tells us he isn't talking about FTG.

This is a case where the manga shits on your argument and you run to the DB for support lol. All the evidence in the manga shits on your argument and there's no way around it so go ahead and keep cherry picking what you want and don't want to accept from the Databooks and manga and creating your own fanfiction ideas :)

Yet you so happen to be desperately clinging to such a tenuous argument that undermines your credibility considerably. We can't select which aspect of the Databook is truthful yet you're willing to controvert the Databook completely. Your argument is egregiously ironic, not to mention horrendously flawed as well when the Databook describes FTG as "Swiftness that surpasses Shunshin".
re·flex\ˈrē-ˌfleks\

Yes, it's an action in response to a stimulus which is a requisite for using Hiraishin.

Just stop. Tobi apathetically remarked that Minato's Shunshin "lived up to the name" because it's expected that the Yellow Flash can maneuver really fast. It does not connote blinding speed like KCM Naruto's where we have Tsunade, Bee, and Kakashi all marvel at his speed in comparison to Tobi's apathetic response.

Databook 4 said:
The jutsu developed by Tobirama Senju are taken over by his students. Minato Namikaze for instance improved the Hiraishin-no-Jutsu and was so virtuoso in it, that he was given the nickname "Yellow Flash". Many outstanding techniques were continuously refined and further developed in accordance with the era. Is the future of Kagebunshin and Rasengan now in Naruto's hands?!

The Databook illustrates a perspicuous contrast between the two and associated Minato's moniker with his improvement over Hiraishin. Tobirama's was clearly subpar in comparison to Minato's which is why Minato received such a moniker.

This is a case where the manga shits on your argument and you run to the DB for support lol. All the evidence in the manga shits on your argument and there's no way around it so go ahead and keep cherry picking what you want and don't want to accept from the Databooks and manga and creating your own fanfiction ideas :)

Manga and Databook are harmonious. You're arguing otherwise because you horrendously misconstrued the manga and clearly demonstrated lack of sufficient reading comprehension necessary to analyze the Databook.

Minato does have one heck of a fast shunshin. There is no denying that. He has feats backing it up too against tobi saving naruto, when kakashi was about to kill obito etc. But to say minato can fight off MS itachi (susano restricted) without ftg is not happening. It's because itachi himself is a very capable shinobi. So minato loses this. Plus Ay himself was compared to minato in v1 state if memory serves me right. And even v1 Ay can't win against healthy itachi.

No, Base Raikage's reaction speed was compared to Minato's.

Would Itachi even need Amaterasu? Minato without FTG is severely crippled.
