You've probably seen or heard of this video making its rounds around social media, if you haven't watch it or read the title. When I saw this, I was pissed at the fact this kind of shit is still going on in today's age. Me being mixed race Half black/half Hispanic, I have no other option, but to be against that kind rhetoric. But what pisses me off even more was how so many people shared the same sentiments as the guy in the video. And support was on both sides of the aisle, it wasn't just blacks, or whites, it was both. And I know this sort of sentiment isn't limited to blacks and whites, I've experienced this sort of reaction back when I was going out with this Indian girl back in high school. I think her parents were from Bangladesh, and they hated the fact that I was talking to their daughter. Of course they didn't say anything to me, but she would tell how her parents would get into heated arguments about seeing me.
Why are so many people against interracial relationships, like why does it matter???? Some people say it's to protect the future of their race, but like, what has "your race" done for you? Like as a collective? Honestly? "I'd be ashamed if my daughter married a man outside of our race" "Race mixing is absolutely degenerate" "Race traitors" "Swirling scum" This shit is ****ing disgusting. Why do people care so much about who other people f***?????
