so... as we know , shanks was part of the pirate king crew... gol d. roger... and gol d. roger had the strawhat... first of , how did he found that strawhat? why did he wear it ? does it has an whole other meaning rather than just... proving that , the next pirate king , it'll be the guy that wears the strawhat... i think it does... what if... the strawhat means , that he's the leader of the D. clan?

i mean think about it... gol d. roger had it , he was smiling a lot... he wasn't backing down ever... luffy is the same way... the will of D. what if... shanks is a D? and we dont know? is a really "bad reason" as to why i think he is a D. is just... he smiles a lot whenever he's doing something , he's constantly laughing / smiling... he smiled whenever he saved luffy , even though his arm... got bitten , then , he was smiling when luffy arrived at the grandline , then he just wants parties , then he laughs whenever something "funny" happens... like, that bandit... idk... he has "something." what if , gol d. roger , said that the next guy that would be the pirate king or something along those lines would be the guy wearing the strawhat? what if the proof that the reencarnation of the leader of the d. clan is the one using the strawhat? until now we only saw 3 people wearing it , gol d. roger , shanks and then luffy , why shanks though? why is he so important? yeah , you can that in every shounen we have that character , but there has to be something more that is missing us the readers what you guys think? is a good guess or... a failed? he... just is... 2 nice and is constantly happy

I don't see any reason Shanks would have to be a D. He doesn't need it to be Badass, because he's already Shanks.

You know how reincarnations work right? The first person has to be dead before they can be resurrected into a new body. Roger and Shanks couldn't both be reincarnations as they were alive at the same time. Same for Luffy and Shanks. So Shanks is eliminated from this possibility.
