The reason why Sasuke should have remained single

Sasuke is just living the single hermit life Kishi wanted him to live anyway in reality. If he was single the events in the Boruto movie and the rest of the post war timeline would have made more sense too and I would have been fine with the direction Kishi went. The problem is Kishi also wanted him to have a kid so they could be on the same team as Naruto's kid for the next generation. He also thought Sakura technically getting with him was a good way to end her character since as the flashback from when team seven told Kakashi their goals showed, getting with Sasuke is what she always. In Kishi's mind who cares how it happened or what the relationship is like when they are married. It is a case of trying to have your cake and eat it too and it fails miserably.

I really wanted him to remain single because either way the Uchiha blood is going to get weaker and weaker. Uchihagakure would be cool though...

Sasuke should've just not only traveled the world, but tried to gather some of its secrets like the Ryuchi Cave's location for instance. He could've made it his goal to obtain knowledge and wisdom while becoming stronger both physically and spiritually.

Once he was ready, Sasuke should've taken Karin and settle down in a peaceful village (Like you said) and privately raise a family with her, because as an Uzumaki, her DNA would give Sasuke's clan what it needs to survive and not be diluted. Sasuke could even help the village become more organized and become the newborn leader of that village.

Thus, the Uchiha Clan and Uzumaki Clan will be reborn.

Anyway, Sasuke isn't the "settling" type obviously. He's experienced way to much to ever settle down in a traditional standard but he does have traditional ties to be people (Sakura, Sadara & anyone subject) and the leaf village. I do agree through, the way Sasuke traveled the world for that extended period of time isn't the make of a normal husband but Sasuke isn't normal.

Nah, Sasuke brings down the Gedo Statue with his Rinnegan and hooks himself up to it and revives Kushina, that way he has a full-blooded Uzumaki to get dirty with and revive his clan. Naruto might not be happy about it but who cares?

It doesn't really fail at all or have any bad effect on the overall story in my opinion. Regardless of whether or not Sasuke stayed single, he'd still be travelling through the world and through dimensions, while protecting the world from the shadows. Worst case scenario is Sarada becomes totally irrelevant. Even if that happens, nothing would really change about the story and its quality wouldn't be affected. Of course if Sarada turns out to be an epic character, that's great! There is really no failure here at all. The closest thing to damage that SasuSaku does is:You could make the argument that it damages Sakura's character for marrying a guy who did all the things that Sasuke did to her.

In short, if anything, Sakura is the only one that takes damage.
