Although I'm fifteen, I'm being plagued with ideas of becoming very rich for the sole purpose of having at least 3-4 kids.

The idea of doing something great in my life to pass down an identity to my descendants is something I've thought about often, and solidifying my family name as an identity for my children and their own is something that I've also thought about. After doing thorough research I found out that this was normal for men..but my mind was taking it to a bigger height.

There are many large rich families out there with a lot of members ranging from 15-20 which can all trace their ancestry to one common ancestor that did something amazing for the world. I want to do something like that. If I had a time-travel machine I'd want to be able to identify my legacy.

Is there anyone else who's interested in accomplishing something like this?

I do think it would be cool to have something like that but the likelihood of my children being disconnected snobs is a lot higher. Also, it seems a lot of those kids with a father figure that big just feel overshadowed.

If I'd wanted a big family, I'd want to be rich for the sake of the family more than leaving a legacy.

That's an amazing aspiration you've got.

Only 15 and THAT future-conscious? Kudos to whoever raised you, man.

You can be the beginning of a remarkable bloodline. You can make sure that your family has financial abundance for generations and generations to come.

Poverty sucks, and you can be the sole reason that none of your descendants ever experience it.

If I ever reach any financual success I rather leave my kids wisdom and create their own success for themselves and leave all my money for good causes to me that's true legacy, if all you leave your kids is money than its no surprise they will wild out with it

I want to share my art with the world and maybe get paid doing it. My aspirations aren't to get rich but if it happens I'm not going to complain :bdpf:

Good on you though OP. Follow your dreams, make them a reality:win:

I want to get in shape.
I want to have a successful career.
I want to have a family.

Sort of yea. I don't want to spoil my kids but I want there to be money for like piano lessons and traveling or studying when they get older.

Right now I'm in a slum. Everything sucks and I'm not in good shape.

Get in the habit of just doing exercise everyday, it'll change your mindset as a whole if you can discipline yourself. I'm losing weight right now as it is, it'll take effort but it's worth building up your endurance and discipline as a person. If you have a talent you should put it to use, it's easier said than done but it's definitely worth the try. Running around, and doing around 50-100 pushups, situps, and jumping jacks will be good.

I've always found myself to be great at writing, I plan on writing books for myself and others in the near future as a hobby and for money. You should figure out what you're exceptional at, there's always something. I believe you can do it.

I just find the idea of being able to locate your descendants in the future pretty cool. Most of this comes from Assassin's creed, it really captivates me with the idea of reliving the memories of your ancestors.

Along with Naruto itself, with different people moving throughout the lands and creating ethnic groups, clans, and cultures of their own, leaving something behind of theirs for the world to see.

A lot of you just want to create something that other people are inspired by, which I like but people tend to be forgotten if their inventions aren't as "trendy" as something like the iPhone.

I'm the same on dropping an album. I've always been involved with music my entire life, and I've been performing since I was 8, but I dropped the whole music thing when I started college, cause 1. I didn't have the funds to go into recording 2. The guys I used to play with either got strung out on drugs or ended up getting someone pregnant 3. I saw no money in it. I'm hoping after I get my B.S., I can get back into music production and drop an album. If its not dropping an album, it's opening a commercial studio and starting a music label.

I want to get rich and buy a lot of land. Start a big family and build a community where we all live for future generations. If it keeps up, if they keep expanding and gaining properties for years after I'm gone. I could be the start of domination.

Sounds a lot like my own plan. But your's sounds almost like the future formation of an ethnic group. I was more along the lines of creating a house or clan of people.

If your hope is for future familial domination, then you'll have a lot of Jewish families to compete with. And maybe even my own family.

@bold: thats fail. i could never picture a day id quit playing any of my instruments or singing. even if i wasnt as lucky as i am id still be playing for the love. you stopped for stupid reasons imo honestly

but you could definitely make your own album in your life time with how technology is. you should go for it once you get your degree, even if just to say you did

Oh, I still play in my personal time, I'm just not trying to make a profession out of it. I could never stop playing bro, music is my life, lol.

Looking back at it though, I'm still conflicted on whether I made the right decision or not. I wasn't trying to end up like these other artist who've been playing music up until their mid-30s, but still don't have anything put out and nothing to look back to, and end up working at a local music store, so I don't completely regret it.

I'm not that old (21), but if you're still young and making music is your dream, go for it. Do what's best for you. :sdo2:
