The loli genre was created after the publication of a book called "Lolita" which is about a middle aged man becoming sexually obsessed with a 12 year old girl.

Loli is slang for Lolicon, which is a genre defined by works that portray child characters or characters that appear like young children in erotic and sexual manners. It also refers to people who have a sexual attraction to such characters.

If you're a fan of Loli, you might not be a pedophile, but you're still supporting a genre where the crutch is the sexualization of children's bodies.

Well that describes a lot of anime fans aparantly... the moment when you realize some of the ardent Hinata and FT fans were 27 year old or around. ... e_e

I bet it does. Fairy Tail is already on my "**** this series" list because of exactly this. A grown man called a character with the body of a child "just his type."

Considering that Japan is shrouded in controversy over aspects of its media and culture sexualizing children, it's not surprising that there's a substantial amount of anime fans that have this kind of mindset

Your point is moot anyway because none of the characters bar one resembles a loli-type character. Not only that, but all the characters ever do is sing. So you're reaching a bit far there when you're calling LL fans pedophiles.

My point isn't moot at all. I called people who fans of the Loli genre pedophiles in a passing comment, and elaborated further that the term refers to a pedophilic genre and people with those tendencies.

If LL isn't a loli series, then fair enough, my comments simply don't apply to them, but it's still a valid statement towards the concept of loli.

>if its size 7 and bold font I'm not salty
>higher sales indicates higher quality
>they look young, therefore loli, therefore any fans are pedophiles

Being shallow, the thread.

Was that supposed to be an insult or nah?

Besides, I use size 3 and bold, because the words are a little too small and my glasses are missing.
