Should Sasuke revive it?

I felt as though he gave up on it when he told Naruto that he would die in order to end the cycle of Indra and Asura, indicating that even if he lived, he might not revive the clan.

Are things bad enough with Kawaki around? Or do we need more Obito's and Madara's to remind people how messed up the shinobi system is. The shinobi world didn't learn the first time, so the second time might be the charm.

To be honest, the shinobi world could use more clans with Kekkei Genkai to spice things up, I find Boruto and his buddies to be boring in comparison to the generations that came before.

The Uchiha Clan is back and Orochimaru is responsible. All those Shin clones. Which Naruto gave a home in Konoha and Kabuto raises at the orphanage.

Uchiha clan was already revived via birth of Sarada.

That's just one person.

Does it really matter? Life is about passing on your genes. If your bloodline still walks on this world, that means your clan is still alive. The bloodline of your ancestors still lives on through you.

It does matter though. Notice both the Uchiha and Hyuga kept marriages in their clan in order to keep bloodlines pure and their KKG strong. Sarada is a Uchiha/Harnuo hybrid. Her child will be a 1/4 breed and likely won't be able to activate the sharingan due to diluted blood.

Not really. The strong genes will always win over the recessive genes. Look at Naruto, he inherited 50% Uzumaki blood from his mother and look at where he is now. Look at his kids Boruto and Himawari.

Genes never disappear, but if we're going based on logic. One hybrid can't revive an entire clan, especially a female. Sasuke would need more children, specifically males as well.

The bloodline of the Sharingan may continue, but the gene may never reappear so what's the point. The whole point of a clan is a large group of relatives with similar abilities, whether it be Hiden Jutsu or Kekkei Genkai's. Having one child that doesn't even know a thing about her lineage won't revive the clan, especially if the blood continues to be diluted due to a lack of multiple Uchiha blooded people walking the earth.

I'm pretty sure Indra had lots of children that married outside the clan for a few generations and then came back together to create the clan once the blood got thin enough to stop mental retardation from incest.

Yes. DB famously ignored it's own rules by the time they got to GT. Where Pan couldn't go SSJ because she's more human than saiyan (1/4 saiyan), but Pan's grandson Goku Jr and his friend Vegeta Jr could go SSJ, despite the blood dilution through the generations.

Naruto being a half-breed is different than a person being a 1/4 or even a 1/8 descendant of a powerful clan. Compare Naruto losing Kurama to his mother losing Kurama. A pure Uzumaki's life force was so strong that she managed to live for several minutes, use her special ability to bind Kurama and help Minato perform the Uzumaki seals to reseal Kurama inside Naruto. To Naruto, who was KO'ed and dying after Madara took Kurama from him.

Even if reviving the clan with just one person makes sense in genetics, it isn't practical. After all, Sarada may end up not having kids for one reason or another, or breeding with someone whose genes are dominant over the Sharingan.

Things will really be bland without a clan like the Uchiha, their members had some good views on philosophy. I thought I was going to die with all the idealism Naruto was spewing.

You're overthinking things. Each and everyone of us are born with a certain potential. The new generations always surpass the previous ones. Take note of a breed of dogs for example. A full blooded race will have a more exposure to diseases than a half breed and mutt dog. The more variety of genes our organism haves, the higher potential we will have. There's a reason why incest is considered taboo among our cultures.

Incest within clans are among people who are extremely distant cousins, it's almost like being a part of a race rather than a clan.

Naruto has actually shown that the new generations are always weaker, with war comes a higher demand of skilled shinobi. In a time of peace, there is less demand for that. For example, Madara's Susano'o dwarfs Sasuke's.

Not unless you want to increase the amount of trash in the world of Naruto.

Considering the main Uchiha were all taken in their sleep, despite being "elite" ninja, with explosive fire style jutsus and get out of death free card Izanagi, I say the Shin clones are in good company for not being very remarkable.

He can barely be a father, I don't see him reviving a clan.

Well if I remember correctly, a kage-level shinobi named Obito literally slaughtered the entire police-force. While an S-Ranked ANBU killed all of the civilians.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't as simple as them being "taken in their sleep". We're to believe that a lot of people were awake when they died, especially children.
