- Increased taxes for the wealthy

-Universal Basic income at the cost of higher taxes

-Ending the citizens united act

-Refunding the military who, btw, cannot even account for some of their expenditures

- Increasing the tax rate for financial aid to prevent undergraduates from drowning in depth

-Dismantling corporate monopolies such as the regional cable companies owning all the cable lines in their region.

This courtly is absurd rn through the fact the the walmat family owns 40% of all wealth in America.Truly appalling.

Something neews to change because low-middel calss citizen are screw by the system

As citizens were have teh right to *dismantle the govermenrt and I beleve we ineed to take the initiative if anythings going to change. I peple we can revolitional this ststem by comin to getter as j

You know why cable is monopolized I hope... After you revolt and get your share, are you planning to share it?

That's not really socialism, more social democracy.

Socialism is workers owning the means of production vs Capitalism where production is owned by a small few, the bourgeoisie, who profit from our labor. Discussions about socialism and capitalism benefit when all parties understand what they are, and don't rely on misconceptions.

dismantling monopolies is a basic necessity of a functional free market. That's not exactly a socialist ideal. Find me one right wing economist who doesn't support trust busting

sectors like electricity, water, trains should be monopolized. BUT they should be monopolized by the government, by subsidiaries under it's command called offices. that are managed like private corporations but are under the government's command. the National corporations that you can still find in for example Morocco and France. I don't know if there are still national corporations in America, because you've gone to far on the perfect market, you've got screwed deeply by the capitalists and the bankers. (by you I mean the peope) of course you don't feel it because America is a rich country, you get the leftovers but the leftovers are big, you have a good life. but that doesn't change the fact that you only get the leftovers.

as we all do, in this monetary system

**** THE BANKS ! AND **** THE CAPITAL ! AND **** THE MONEY !

GOD BLESS TECHNOLOGY ! AND GOD BLESS THE SCIENCE !

let's all be aware to drive towards a worldwide revolution against these pieces of shit, revolution of awarness, let's organize ourselves over the years, slowly.

The middle class system is screwed because of the socialist policies America has already implemented. As a matter of fact, after reading your whole post I'm not sure you understand socialism at all except the part where you said "increasing the tax rate."

Research and development, medical and technology advancements, increased military, and all the other elements that push a society further are attributed to free market and competition. If you want to see technological stagnation, a gutted middle class, and a society where the dreaded 1% still own 99% of wealth, then support socialism.

I'm in favor of equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome, so no.

Not sure people care what it really means, I see youtube comments about "that's stupid european socialism" etc without any real substance.
