Byakugou Regen can negate Amaterasu?

So can instant perfect healing negate the effects of Amaterasu? Can a Byakugou user user Katsyuu to shrug of the black flames?

Byakugo fappers will say a resounding yes. Realistically though it would only work if the byakugo user has enough chakra to keep it up the regen for 7 whole days of continuous burning

Actually, Amaterasu is not a fire that can be put out....So, I guess , no. Healing will have no effect....It will only postpone the inevitable....

If Katsuyu acts as a shroud then yeah. Amaterasu burns slow unless concentrated @ a certain point. If it's not a concentrated Amaterasu Byakugou would resist until the user's chakra ran out; in the end dying as Amaterasu burns for seven days & seven nights.

Yes, if you cut the skin of the burn area off via chakra scalpel or some ninja tool then regen you'll be fine. Or if stabbed like naruto was in final battle, also remove that area, it will regenerate. Unless you have to take an entire limb.

If they are enveloped in it, that different. But they can avoid most cases of amerterasu useage I have seen.

I doubt it. There's a reason why Raikage cut his own hand off, he had Ce there too but he sill opted to cut it nonetheless. The black flames would continue to spread, consuming his whole body until everything turned to ash.

It can only delay the inevitable for a couple of minutes. It won't stop the spreading at all, so if the user wants to survive, she has to remove the flames somehow ( chakra scalpels can probably cut the burned area? )

No it can't, only JuubiJins and Mokuton users can survive being in contact with the flames. Byakogou users can't cut portions of their body and replace it instantly.

Katsuyu could separate the part of her body hit by it, So yeah she can defense against it.

Byakgou users cannot, They will be constantly burning, They might deal with it for a short while but they will be in constant intense pain and succumb to it eventually

The problem with this argument is that everyone in favor of Amateratsu assumes the one with Byakugou is:

1:going to stand still and let it burn them and

2: assumes that the Byakugou user isn't going to cleave off whatever part is burning then regrowing said piece.

Now if Amateratsu hits some part that can't be severed than sure you're screwed. But what's to stop the Byakugou user to just chop off the burning piece like Aye did his hand?

Actually they can. The tech is stated to regrow limbs as well. But hitting something like the neck or head or chest is another story for sure. Just depends on what's burning. In the case of Katsuyu though it can take the flame then separate from the host this shielding them from Amateratsu...well until Amateratsu is cast again anyway

It doesn't need to be shown. Tsunade and the databook state this. Again I'm not saying she can regrow her head or heart cause well she'd be dead. But things like arms and legs no problem. Byakugou at least kept her alive when she was in half. The lack of chakra and the tree in her body most likely kept her from reattaching...uh that last bit is just an observation not fact.

Why does everything half to be displayed in utter detail and with pics? Can we not just take her word for it like we do for so many others? or is it because we are talking about Tsunade/Sakura ?:bdpf:
