She is a shinobi. When she unlocked the Byakugan she took out Naruto. What you may have forgotten is that not anyone can use Gentle Fist, even among the Hyuga. Remember, Hyuga finely control their chakra and form virtually invisible thin needles of chakra on their fingers to attack. She couldn't have mastered chakra control on that level on her own and certainly not randomly how she saw as a chakra point on Naruto. Wether or not she's in the academy it's obvious Hinata and or Naruto have been training her.

Kabuto, Hanabi, Sai, the Sand Siblings, Kurotsuchi, Deidara, Bee and others never went to Academy and instead had private lessons by someone powerful. You only have to take the exams or have TPTB in a respective village promote you if they feel you are ready.

She has no need to play "Ninja" with the other fodders in the Academy. Nor the fodders with petty ranks as Genin, Chunin, Jonin, etc.
If a rank were to be given to her, it'd simply be "∞".

Sunflower Goddess Himawari is omnipotent. She redefines what it means to Solo. Calling her hax isn't nearly enough to describe what she is capable of.
She took out the most powerful being alive for an entire day with a single finger. Imagine her utilizing 10. Damn.

For the authors sake and his story, her immense power may not be shown. Which is why the story will focus on more vastly inferior beings.

I don't think that we will see anything from her , I know that everyone have high-hopes for her , but the main show is about Boruto , and in the the movie she was irrelevant , I think her potential is going to be wasted (just like ma'boy Neji ) , but since the story isn't going to be written by Kishimoto , and isn't revoloving about a yaoi relationship , there is a hope

Himawari has no purpose. There is a reason the rest of Naruto's generation only had one kid of the same age so they could all interact with each other. She was only created because Naruto is the main character and having a boy and a girl is more photogenic than just one kid since his family would get the most focus. You are also taking a completely nonsensical tsundere violence feat from a comedic one shot way too seriously.
