I got intel i7 skylake 6700k + 1080GTX and 32GB RAM. I can run the latest games at 4k ultra setting!

1060 strix +i5 4690 here.

Got the black friday deal and other discounts on the Alienware aurora. So 2.2k max and I use the reward points to buy the 24 inches 1440p 165hz monitor.

That's not too bad. Do you think if you built it yourself it would have been cheaper, or no?

Only would've save 50 to 100 bucks if I had build it. But I would have to buy the monitor, which is 325. So that black Friday deal and extra discount kinda beat the custom built price. I was also able to squeeze 2 years warranty into the product too.
