Even thought I love it as an anime, yes the art style is very low

I got no problem with it since I'm used to it, but maybe Oda should stop drawing bulldozers on top of twigs

That's just Oda wanting to make sure that we know, that Kuma likes to skip Leg Day.

The art is what makes OP so good, the art is half of the manga and that's why One Piece is so good since every design is unique. Some characters do look silly but that's the whole point of it.

One Piece is silly in a sense and the artstyle of Oda is making it possible to be like that.

If you changed the artstyle of One Piece, the manga wouldn't be as half as good as it is.

Id ask you how it is "objectively shit" but I know you have no proper answer, no one ever had one :) everyone just always wrote their negative opinions

Its fantasy why do characters have to be completely realistic? Yes a few characters in op look similar

On the other hand 80% of naruto characters look the same :)

If you guys can't appreciate the way Oda's fantastic world looks it's your loss tbh :)
the reasons i stated above, bad proportions are just not good

they dont have to be realistic but not being realistic does not mean they have to look like something a 1st grader drew

kishi is merely mediocre while oda is plain bad
kishis art would be just like oda if he drew half the characters like this

I don't know what is worse. The fact that you're missing the point of the discussion. Or the fact that you think you have a point here.

Disproportionate=/=bad proportions. Bad proportions would be one arm that's three feet long and one that's two inches long with alternating widths.

I'm pretty sure he's saying if you take away the hair and reduce them to the base design, they're all the same. The shapes of their bodies and faces. Meanwhile, One Piece has many diverse shapes and sizes. You can't take Law's hair, put in on Zoro's base, and it'd look just like Law did before. With Naruto characters, you could swap hairstyle and eye shading and the face would look the same as the character you're swapping with.

Like, you could add the hairstyle and clothing to this, and make like 90% of the Naruto characters

Even looking at like this, I can't tell if this is supposed to be Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, or Ino.
Clearly Ino as you can see the depth around her eyes.

It's actually temari. I thought it was Ino too but not because Kishi makes every girl look the same but because Riker said Ino in his post and the blond eyebrows. Something was making me think that it wasn't Ino though so seeing that it was actually Temari made a lot more sense. Ino has no pupils and her eyelashes don't have that spike. Here's a similar picture of Ino.

Oda tends to use the same body shape and a similar face when he makes female characters that are suppose to be seen as attractive.

Overall his designs are way more varied

Thats Oda's style of drawing. Its not bad artwork. When i started OP i was skeptic because of the art style but eventually it grew on me.

Never Judge a book by its cover. I learned this lesson first hand with One Piece. Reluctantly I started watching it and man it was ride to remember 500 chapters in a row

Before I decided to give One Piece a chance, I was so into Naruto that I didn't think I would. OP's style seemed childish to me. But, I gave it a chance, and I don't regret spending the last 5 years enjoying the manga and anime. Good story!
