JJ Madara is the biggest threat Naruto and Sasuke ever faced even more so than Kaguya who had 0 fighting instinct. Anyone below Madara is legit fodder for current Naruto and Sasuke

with the new design i was hoping to see a crazy power up. golden rinnegan? hahahaha, what trash, was even with base naruto, got overpowered as soon as the cloak came out(only good thing from chapter), didnt even get to knock out sasuke like he did in th movie and his "avatar" still got one shoted by a blade swing.

Momo wasn't the fighter. Kinishiki was. If Kinshiki had rinne and absorbed momo. Then it'd be a fight.

Naruto and Sasuke are lucky Kaguya,Momo, and Toneri have a severe lack of fighting skill. Despite that, Kaguya nearly killed them if it wasn't for what i mentioned above.

Momo, and toneri are nerfed due to lack of fighting experience. kinshiki is powerful but he doesn't have rinne or anything like that. He's just base strong and can keep up with Sasuke.

Lack of fighting experience is not a nerf in addition Kinshiki has fighting experience so that excuse doesn't apply to fused Momofodder.

The simple truth is Naruto and Sasuke are superior warriors and can only be surpassed by Madara, Kaguya and her children.

Momo was at full power yet couldn't even pose a threat to EMS and BSM. Full powered Rinnegan and RSM would be overkill for Momo and there would be no plot to begin with.

It does apply. He absorbed Kinshiki's power. Not his skills.

Lack of skill is a nerf. Momo valued power being gifted to him without any training or hard work .Which is expected given the fact hat he's born naturally strong. Kinshiki actually gave Sasuke a run for his money.

Had they any tact or skill it would have been an interesting fight. If the villains don't start getting interesting or at least powerful and skillfull, the series will end up getting axed.
