In a way, yes, Bolt did have to learn how to use the techs stored in the tool effectively. And Naruto only had to steal the chakra because Kurama was evil back then. If Kurama ever gets a host AFTER Naruto, that host will have instant access to all of Kurama's powers due to the fact that Kurama isn't evil anymore.

You're forgetting that Naruto still had to train and learn how to use chakara arms properly, and he also had to train to master the 8:2 ratio for bijuudama. Not to even mention the fact that between the time of the war and the time of "The Last" (which was 2 years later), Naruto clearly trained with Kurama's power to be able to concentrate all of that power into his arm (as seen in The Last). In short, Naruto had to train to master Kurama's power.

Naruto had to learn to use the Kyuubi's power. He was a forced Jinchuriki, not something he could just live with.

Ya'll are not thinking straight if you automatically think Naruto is being a contradiction there. The beginning of the chakra use was more of a curse than a gift in the first place.

That curse saved him on multiple occasions.Everytime he was going to die Kurama one shotted the enemy for him . Naruto wouldn't have survived the Haku fight without Kurama

Its because naruto uses kurama's chakra along side of his sage powers, thats a major diference compared to boruto who wasn't even using his own chakra.
