My name means "Let us be heard", more ellaborately "Let our prayers/requests be heard". The name is a Xhosa name, from language IsiXhosa.

The surname is "Shishwali" I don't exactly know the meaning of it since it is a Hindu word. It is a village in Uttar Pradesh, India so I wouldn't be over familiar with it.

As the thread states, yours?

He has amazing taste...in music, clothes, food, everything. Every girl secretly wishes that he could be her boyfriend. he is sweet and knows how to treat a girl. he's perfect--in his own little way.the sexiest person on the planet, often refered to as awsome or godly, he is a very nice and handsome person liked by all, all his friends are jeleous of his awsomeness, all the girls wanna be with him and all the guys wanna be him.

The meaning and origin just says this:

Origin of the name Richard:

RICARDO is a Spanish and Portuguese form of RICHARD. A borrowing from the Old French, Richard is derived from the Old High German Richart, a compound name composed from the elements rík, rīc (power, ruler) and hard (strong, brave, hardy): hence, "brave ruler." The name, introduced by the Normans, was borne by three kings of England. The first was Richard I (1157 - 99), called Richard the Lion-Hearted, the leader of the Third Crusade.

I see :Sparks:

That's quite an old name, but there are still many richards out there. Some use it as a surname in plural form "Richards", Norse add the son down the generation "Richardson" etc..

OT: Mine is Arabic too, but I don't really think it has a meaning to it.
EDIT: just looked up the name on urban dictionary, it apparently means the chosen one, or in some cases the generous one.
