Why doesn't Naruto just seek out Orochimaru and obliterate him?

This wouldn't even take half a day. I don't understand why Orochimaru is allowed to live at all, considering he is still experimenting and generally being immoral. Given Orochimaru's past actions, why doesn't Naruto just find him and blast to to bits? Was there ever any reasoning given to why Oro was allowed to live?
