Yes. After the Novels, there is no more Naruto 'ANIME' I believe.

I have a feeling they'll animate the other novels later on because I don't think Boruto fillers will sell as much as Naruto fillers.

They should have announced the anime after the Manga made the characters/story more interesting. It'll fail most likely

It won't fail. The Japanese watched the horrible Part 1 fillers and the ratings barely went down if at all. If anything, the anime will be used to sell other Boruto merch and video games.
