Why did everybody have to die??? I understand why Noctis had to die but why did Ignis,Promto and Gladious have to die? How did they die anyway?

It feels really weird replaying all the remaining side quests when you know these guys will end up dying.

Ignis, Prompto, and Gladiolus didn't die. Only Noctis did because part of the agreement for gaining the power to destroy the "Accursed Immortal" (Ardyn) was the cost to his life.

You technically travel to "past Lucis" when you're doing postgame. So, it's not that weird.

But those 3 were there when Noctis was fighting Ardyn in the spirit world. And even the dead father and wife was there as well so the 3 must have died fighting those demons.
