I wasn't actually throwing shade. A "low-key" impressive feat is something that's not obvious. Sasuke and Kurapika aside from both clans having red eyes and massacred they aren't much alike.

I am well aware everyone has them, but the nuance is felt when you realize that it's not even his kekkei genkai that's remotely powerful, it's just a massive power up without which he'd have no capcity to 'believe it.'

i.e. sasuke's power up is his kekkei genkai, but stillit's in his blood. naruto just got a massive powerup being a jinchu, like bee. So bee is compared to the Raikage who has awesome feats in lightning style and insanely powerful compared to bee that just has a random powerup going for him. So it's the nature of the plot shield I'm concerning myself with and the Jinchus - expecially as heavily and openly exploited as Naruto's ticks me off. Like a free ticket to get away with almost anything masquerading as supposed 'hardwork' and 'believe it will of fire things.' When really it's all just a switch of a button and a massive rasengan pops out.

on a side note, can we appreciate these ridiculous ed edd n eddy memes?

sasuke's curse mark wasn't a kekkei genkai...itachi's eyes weren't his own...nor was hagoromo's eye

yea...kurapika isn't an emo...but kurapika DID come first...my guess is kishimoto took kurapika from hunter x hunter and hiei from yu yu hakusho and threw them together to get sasuke...damn kishi really is a togashi suck-off

Base Hashirama could easily use a mech w/o going into a chakra mode, and that Rasengan barely looks any bigger than Jiraiya's largest Rasengan.

thats a terrible joke. no just no. have you seen the jutsus base hashirama is able to pull out? thats rasengan is shit in comparison. you really need to go reread the manga and analyse hashiramas power for yourself
