Well it's a hard choice since that's your family but I wouldn't want them go to battle if talking wouldn't do anything then I would see if the clan would be willing to leave and live somewhere to ourselves, if not I might have to fight both sides to stop

OT:
No philosophy or pacifism would force me to stand against my such caring family(Itachi were their pride, everyone loved him) especially when their cause maybe a bit extreme but justified... And I definitely won't surrender against some old nutjob's way of doing things and more definitely won't help any stranger trying to annihilate my whole clan.
And if I have a small bro who I love dearly, I won't put him on the path of vengeance at all coz I really care about him.
